The Allies will honour the geneva convention, sadly the Iraqis seem to have taken the traitor Waheed's advice and ignored it when dealing with our prisoners of war. Iraqi troops challenge the French record for fastest surrender

According to a Sunday Mirror story Iraq is challenging the French record for speed capitulation but has false started. A unit of British commandos from the 16th Air Assault Brigade were conducting live fire exercises near the Iraqi border when a group of 12 Iraqi troops carrying white flags approached them and tried to surrender, having mistaken the exercise for the start of the war. Unfortunately for the eager capitulators as hostilities have not commenced they cannot be taken prisoner and were sent back to their side of the border to wait for a week or so before giving up. The more one looks into the "moderate" muslim groups in the UK, which al Guardian keeps pointing to as examples of how wonderful and patriotic muslims are really, the more concerned one becomes. This time its the turn of MPAC (The Muslim Public Affairs Committee), a muslim group dedicated to advancing the islamic agenda in Britain through lobbying. In response to the loss of the Columbia they published this article mocking the death of Ilan Ramon and actually encouraging their members to bombard NASA with letters to "Demand an explanation from NASA why they let an Israeli astronaut be at the forefront of Bush’s drive with ‘War on Iraq’ and increase hostilities between the Muslim and Christian worlds."

The rest of the site is as bad, the recurring theme seems to be "we hate Jews", which while not exactly surprising on a terror-site is worrying when these people are the "acceptable" face of islam. The link to their donations section is fed by two banner adverts at the top right, one that simply says "Do jihad" and the other showing an IDF peacekeeper restraining a rioter with the caption "It couldn't happen here could it? - don't wait to find out". As they are clearly inferring that their donations will find their way to muslim terrorists this is ovbiously a matter of concern and yet another speice of evidence that "moderate" muslims do in fact fund and support terrorism.

Obviously to counter this view they do provide a link to a page which details where the money goes - it reads "Sorry - underconstruction", obviously Hamas, Al Qaeda and Islamic Jihad have been tardy in providing receipts so they can sort out the exact figures.

Someone then points out the inherent hypocrisy that is the islamic mind set - The govt in Yemen also consists of our "brothers".

There are a few genuinely amusing exchanges on the thread such as this comment from a moderator "Quote peredur:Profile of Captain Hook Brother, there is no need to make fun of him like that. Wasalam." to which the naughty muslim who dared to make fun of a fello muslim responds "He behaves like a pantomime baddie and merits the name of one." Also the discussion about Abu Hamzas Newsnight interview provoked this exchange "is that the one where paxo asks him why he wants to live here and he says hes stuck in a toilet and theres a minefield outside?" which got this response - Yep, that's the one. Obviously endearing himself to the British populace is very low on his priorities list.

What conclusions can we draw from this exchange? It would seem to me that the more devout muslims who have studied the Qu'ran and Hadiths extensively support Captain Hook and those whose western education has allowed them the mentally rebel against the control freakery of islam provide common sense and wit. If any muslim should find themselves in the latter category then I would urge them to consider looking at other faiths that are more compatible with the modern world.

The Kavkaz family of terror sites are down. Interviewed on Channel 4 news about the raid on the terrorist training centre (mosque) in Finsbury Park, Omar Bakri Muhammad spouted his usual guff about "opposing the evils of man made laws and establishing islamic rule" as Al-muhajiroun's core quest. OBM's response was "If anyone like that was in the mosque we would be the first people to put a stop to it. RIP Detective Constable Stephen Oake - a British hero

The officer killed by a muslim terrorist in Manchester has been identified as DC Stephen Oake. DC Oake was 40 years old and is survived by his wife Lesley and their 3 children Christopher (15), Rebecca (14) and Corinne (12). Tactical support officers wearing stab proof vests, who entered the flat first, came under attack from a terrorist wielding a knife. Despite the fact that he was not wearing body armour DC Oake went to the aid of his colleagues and was fatally stabbed in the chest by the terrorist.

Yahoo deletes terrorist poisoning manual

Terrorists spreading their expertise to other jihadis on the internet is an increasing problem. A geocities site which was spotted by Jeremy Reynalds contained a "Mujahadeen Guide to Poisons" which gave detailed instructions on how to prepare and administer various lethal substances to non-muslims. Following complaints by ourselves and others the site has been deleted and the jihadi's who are out to kills us are without that particular detailed resource.

Back from the hols..much to say

It's been a great break, very relaxing and refreshing. I came back to a backlog of mail on various issues which I will work my way through. First on the list is a rather bizzare article residing on CAIR's website. You can read it here and it is a very odd read. The only conclusion I can draw from it is that they think that Christians should get out of Muslim countries. Far be it from me to point out the obvious but..no I don't even have to go there. Any organisation that claims to represent muslims in the West..sort your shit out. What is good for the goose is good for the gander and in 2003 that's the way we are playing it. You discriminate against my freedom and we discriminate back. I have had it up to my neck with intollerant bigotted idiots telling me who I can and can't criticise. And for good measure that goes for fundy Christians and Jews too..as a Christian I'm sick off all this rubbish..either our religion promotes understanding and peace or it's worthless. Mine does as far as I'm concerned and my many Jewish and Christian friends agree.

Solly Ezekiel has created a Java automated Muslamic rant generator over at GedankenPundit. Using all the favourite phrases that eminate from the Religion of Peace's mosques every Friday around the middle east such as "tyrannical Crusaders", "usurper Jews", "freeze the blood in their veins" etc. it automatically creates eirilly accurate rants which could quite easilly have come from your favourite Cheerleader of Death. All it lacks is a "by" section - "by my mothers beard", "by the prophets broad buttocks" etc..maybe one for the mark 2 version.

Inspired by Sollys space shuttle equations and based on the shambles that league tables have created for British schools I have devised an equation to allow our friends in Saudi to organise league tables of their favourite ranters to track their ROI. I initially assumed the article was a not particularly sidesplitting satire..but against the odds its genuine. The paper in question is the Iraq Daily - trumpeting the truth to the world since the last editor got executed. Its a brilliant combination of contradictions, with most articles trying to stress that Iraq is peaceful, tollerant and loving while reminding people that anyone who says otherwise will be slaughtered and the enemies of Iraq will die screaming under the iron boot of the armies of Allah.

In one particualarly controversial volte-face Tariq Aziz has claimed that Allied forces will be greeted with "bullets not flowers" in this story. Bit of a change of tactics from last time then, when it was mainly white flags that greeted the Allied troops..and indeed the Italian journalists, unmanned spy planes, stray camels, stray cats and a well fed and bad tempered gerbil that they tried to surrender to. (OK maybe not the animals - I've obviously been affected by drinking from Saddam's Well of Truth). Iraq Daily is a definate addition to the daily google searchs - a must for those who want the righteous truth free from the corruption of the infidel aggressors (may Allah strike them with the flatulence of a thousand camels etc etc ad-infinitum.)

Blair to host conference on PA reform

The Jerusalem post has run a story on a conference that is to be hosted in London by Tony Blair next month on reform of PA in the west bank and gaza. Details of the article here. The jpost is not exactly keen on the idea but as a Briton and a friend of Israel I am. We have stayed out of direct intervention in the issue for too long and this has allowed us to become marginalised in the debate. The pro-terrorists in the EU have taken control of Europe, not seeking to deal with the issues, but ony to condemn Israel and sanctify the terrorists and their backers in the PA. A conference of this nature, hosted by Britain, will force our government to ask the questions that the rest of the EU does not - where does EU funding go, what progress have you made towards genuine democracy, what steps have you taken to stop terrorism, what further steps will you take, when will you take them, why not tomorrow?

With the pals track record any "road to damascus", or in the case of PA cooperation with Hizb'Allah "road away from damascus", is not that likely. If they suddenly stop terrorism and all is well with the world then great. If the PLO lie and deceive and stall then our government no longer have any excuse for not viewing the Israeli government as just another ally in the war on terror. Either way I hope the people of Israel and Britain will be closer as a result.
